Mucho Muchacho (7notas 7 colores) presents: "T.F.P.O.M. Mixtape/Radio Show y sus Clásicos Básicos"Mucho Muchacho is rap's history. But history sounds old-fashioned and 7 Notas 7 Colores' MC is more present than ever. After retake his musical career in 2016 with the 20th anniversary of "Hecho, Es Simple", one of the greatest records of spanish hip hop, Mucho Muchacho presents now his newest solo project. "T.F.P.O.M. Mixtape/Radio Show y sus Clásicos Básicos" takes the essence of Mucho. New songs, new beats and same punch.
The sound: For 25 cents, name one single record by Cloud Nothings that is not exceptional. Bingo: the correct answer is “there isn’t one”, because with five albums under their belt (the latest still to come) in a career of just ten years, Cloud Nothings can boast in all modesty that they have not put one foot wrong. Since that eponymous debut in 2011, which was as irresistible as it was unruly and lo-fi, the recent Life Without Sound (Wichita Recordings, 2017) in which they explored the more melodic side of their indie rock with hints of post-hardcore, the soundings of the depths of the existence of its leader and alma mater Dylan Baldi are exciting, revealing and exhilarating all at once. Few guitar bands are as stimulating as Cloud Nothings nowadays. The fury: In between, of course, their two most iconic albums: Attack on Memory (Wichita Recordings, 2012) the explosive cyclogenesis of youthful anguish explicit in the titles of its tracks (No Future/No Past, Wasted Days, Stay Useless) and Here and Nowhere Else (Wichita Recordings, 2014) a sublimation of that desperation wrapped in melodies which are increasingly pop that transform their songs into truly unpredictable artefacts. Pogos, choruses, screaming in the background and fists in the air. Now, with Last Building Burning just around the corner (it comes out on October 19th), they promise an album that reflects the energy of their live shows, the desired explosion: “seven short, and one long, bursts of intense, controlled chaos”. What could be better for a record like this than touring venues? Tick: on February 21st in Donostia (Dabadaba), on 22nd in Madrid (Sala 0), 23rd in Valencia (La Marina) and on 24th in Barcelona (La (2) de Apolo), we will scream with Cloud Nothings as if it were the very first time.
